Prior to the appointment - we will gather the information needed to make appropriate interpreter selections and provide them with preparation materials they need. In addition to the date, start & end time, and location of the appointment, we will need the following information:

Name of the Deaf patient and let us know if they have any specific interpreter requests

If they are a parent of a patient, please let us know

Specific reason or purpose of the visit. Please note that “medical appointment” and “follow-up appointment” are not specific enough for interpreter preparation or best fit determination.

Please let us know if your facility requires interpreters to wear a mask or have a specific vaccination, such as a flu vaccine
